Description Munsell 7.5 YR 4/6 (Strong Brown). This layer was almost indistinguishable from the overlying Locus 3 in excavation, except for the fact that it was increasingly full of broken bits of roof tile. Whether this layer represents a distict fill layer or the “sifting down” of the heavy roof tile bits is hard to say; the loci were combined in excavation and all artifacts have been labeled “Locus 3”.

Top (m) Opening elevation: Approx. 892.138 m.
