Description This Brown (7.5 YR 5/4) deposit, which settled to the east of Locus 14, is a minor deviation from surrounding fluvial layers (Loci 7, 8, and 9). The soil in Locus 12 is similar to Locus 7. This row of stacked stones appears to have altered the flow of fluvial deposits in the area. The deposit contains compacted soil and less pottery than the surrounding fluvial layers.
