Description | A change in loci made because sink holes emerging over the first of several repeating layers of rubble suggested that a kiln, an extension of the tunnels or some other architectural feature might underlie the holes. The rubble which emerged became the pattern for the remainder of the depth excavated; therefore, this locus can be combined with Locus 17. |
