Description Locus 2, 7.5 YR 4/6 (Munsell Strong Brown) was created solely to separate the area to the north of the arch from the soil under the arch. The Loci 1 and 2 are part of the same stratigraphic layer. Locus 2 was incorporated into Locus 6 and was never excavated as a separate locus.

Stage Description Post earthquake fill and debris accumulation.
Top (m) Opening Depth: 907.753 m.
Underlies nothing; the area above Locus 2 was excavated as Trench 27 in 1996.
Is Contiguous with Locus 1.
