Description Locus 3 was the western area of the trench that contained a large stump. The soil was a brown gray clatlike soil that contained small amounts of pottery, bone, terracotta, plaster, and carbon. It was designated as a seperate locus because it did not contain any rock or material packsings or clusters, most likely sue in part to the presence of the large stump. Notable finds within was a bucchero strap handle (20130044).
