Description | Locus 8 is located in the northeastern corner of the trench. The soil is a darker olive brown with higher amounts of charcoal and plaster fragments. The soil seems to abut the northern boundary of locus 9. Pottery and bone was recovered, however not as much tile. 1 in 3 buckets was sieved in this locus. A small bone (20130080), a rocchetto fragment (20130056), a butchered bone (20130089), a coarseware fragment with a X-shaped siglum (20130095) were cataloged from this locus. No slag and only 1 piece of vitrified terracotta was found in this locus. This locus is an ancient context. Never fully excavated. |
