Description Pan tile fragment preserves full width and portions of two flanges, each flattened on the exterior and rounded on the interior. The two flanges are not exactly parallel with each other. The shorter of the two (Flange A) slants slightly inward. On the upper edge of flange A are three circular depressions (max. press. diameter 0.013 m) spaced unevenly apart, the third depression partially gone at the break edge. The top of flange B comes to a sharper edge than flange A, and the interior of the flange has low, horizontal ridges, as well as areas of red slip.
