Description Fragment of a bucchero handle which is broader at one end than at the other and is slightly curved. The handle is elaborately decorated with incision. The wider end is decorated with three rows of four triangular shaped depressions (approximately 0.008 m high and 0.004 m wide at the base) each of which has six hoizontal, parallel ridges on the interior. The triangular depressions get progressively deeper from the base to the point. Bordering this area on both sides of the handle is a row of 13/14 small holes; bordering this area at the bottom are three horizontal parallel rows of 13/12/12 small holes. Beneath this border run five vertical parllel grooves down to the broken edge. These grooves are of varying lengths and get progressively deeper as they approach the break.
