AM
Work began this morning with a trench clean-up in meters ABC/2,3. The area was scraped flat then swept clean. Five pottery sherds were recovered.
Initiated and completed a cut in ABC/2 to confirm the presence of galestra. After these meters are scraped and swept meters ABC/2 will be shut down. The maximum depth is 70cm.
The morning continued with baulk trim of the North, East and South baulks.

Completed the baulk trim that we began this morning. The North baulk of C/2,3,4 was trimmed and yielded no pottery. The East baulk of ABC/4 was trimmed and yielded 6 pottery sherds. The south baulk of A/2,3,4 was trimmed and yielded 10 pottery sherds.
Began and completed a cut in ABC/3 to bring the trench floor down to 70cm. Galestra was present throughout.
