Tiles were lifted (36 boxes).  The north wall of the large building was found to continue for 4m (width, 1.50m) up to probably under the west stones of the agger.  A profile was taken over the foundation wall, and the lower section of a mud wall of the building was found to be preserved to a height of 0.85m.  It was 1.15m wide (see profile, ).  This proves that the top of the foundation wall is preserved intact.  When

the agger was constructed, it incorportated the existing wall of the large building as part of its fill.  On the south side of the foundation wall, a small section of the pavement, made of small stones was uncovered (see TG, Book 2, p.87-89 ).  Found: part of a ridgepole tile; small piece of corner guilloche, on the north side of the foundation wall; and a fragment of fine, brown burnished pottery in stratum B (tile layer) from the southwest corner of the cut, fragment of pithos rim.
