Like the amount of slag, the small numbers of vitrified terracotta make it hard to draw any conclusions, except that their presence in CB-59 is most likely due to erosion, possibly from the Civitate A trenches opened this year, which produced large numbers of vitrified terracotta. The most important trend is the total concentration of this material in Locus 3 , suggesting that this Locus is also erosional. None of the vitrified terracotta in CB-59 was cataloged. cf. pg 89 & 101 .
