A 30 cm wide sounding cut was made in N5-6,W1 meters in the 45 cm-45 cm area from East to West. The cut averages 80 cm in depth. Soil in the bottom of this area is uniformly sterile yellowish brown, although roughly 5 cm of dark soil rests on top of this section. Then the portion of N5,W1 and N6,W1 remaining were leveled with mestilini. The spread of plaster noted and drawn yesterday was extended and defined. Soil is medium brown with plaster and carbon inclusions. A complete profile of a coarseware vessel was found in this sestilini work in N6,W1 and was photographed and drawn. Circa \xbd a latte box was recovered.
