Agger 7 room C
for agger stones see linden's plans
A new agger cut, Agger 7, running parallel with Agger 3 and touching Aggeer2 is laid out inorder to see if a wall exists at this point. Agger stones are being removed, as i Ag6 and the same layer of heavily burned fill appears.
The cut reveals a wall, directly in line with that of "Building B". See sketches on p.158, 163 for that sectin. The NW angle (seep.163) of the rrom is clarified and the wal continues north. This gives the western flank of the complex greater unity. But a major problem remains. Are we to restore a parallel wall, inline with the E walls of the rooms on this flank for that section behind the small building excavated by T. Ganz (1968)?
At alpha, fragments of a wing were found, next to the inner face of the wall, and within the heavily burned layer.
