The tile "faced" yesterday was lifted this morning. Other tile, plaster, and terracotta projecting from the bulks was removed. Plastic feed bags were laid down over teh entire are including the column base, section area, and rock fill. Then soil to a depth of 20-30cm was laid over the top for protection. All tile finds remaining were listed and taken down.
