Total amount of pottery for CB 52 in the 2012 excavation season: 34 fragments
A low amount of pottery was recovered in CB 52 during the 2012 excavation season. In total there were 34 fragments, though recovery of so few pieces may be in part due to the halting of excavation before the trench was fully excavated down to sterile soil.
Locus 2 contained the most pottery, at 27 sherds. Impasto was the most found type, at 13 sherds. Of the total fragments, none were cataloged. Some fine impasto was recovered, but no bucchero fragments were recovered. Other finds further reinforce these conclusions and do not provide any additional information.
