June 15, 1977

The tile fall in grids J26,27 was excavated at the 70cm level. The tile fall in these grids lies immediatley beneath the stone pack which appears to run through out the area of T17 and 18.

Section J-K/20-23 was excavated further today with occasional pieces of tile and bucchero being found. Area J-20 revealed pieces of a footed bucchero plate and K-21 produced a fragment of banquet frieze plaque.

This afternoon's excavations concentrated on cleaning the tile fall in grids J-26 and J-27.
