In grid G/5 (T-19), a heavy concentration of stones and dark brown soil was encountered. This is undoubtedly the stone fall referred to by A. Booth (AB I), which probably belongs to the upper building.
In grids J-L/26, the concentration of pottery remained quite heavy. "Redware" was still in evidence, but now somewhat scarcer. Bucchero and painted impasto (Italo-Corinthian?) are more abudant. In grid K/26, a large section of squashed-rim plate was found. This squashed-rim or T-rim plate is by far the most abundant form of "redware" found in K-L/26.
- Find #9
- T-19 H/34
- Rim of bucchero plate decorated with vegetal motif
