CB-31 Trench Summary

The stone formation in CB-31 appears to be man-made, laid on soil above bedrock.  It may have formed the lowest course of a higher construction or cist grave, rocks from which were found fallen along its outer and inner circumference.  Erosion on the slope has carried away soil originally filling the formation, and what soil was excavated was devoid of any datable material.  Only 10-15 very small fragments of worn pottery (impasto, orangeware) were recovered, and one iron ring.
