Continued clearing washout from along the baulk in V/55. We followed the edges of the plastic to determine the level of the previous floor excavation in 1987. In clearing the plastic, it was determined that meters WX/57 had not been cleared to floor level in previous excavations. The majority of the afternoon was spent clearing these meters with hand tools.

The dirt here was loose and brown, and had a heavy plaster content throughout. In addition, 1/3 a cassette of plaster chunks were found.

The pottery found was minimal, but one small piece of bronze and one small piece of glass were found in the backfill in X/56 and X/58 respectively. Five large chunks of vitrified material were also found in the backfill X/56-58.
