We began the morning taking relative depths of the area. The depth of the red-brown soil in W73/S34 (Locus 3) is ~50cm and the depth of the dark brown soil in W73/S35 (Locus 2) is 50cm. The remainder of these meters and W74/S34-35 is ~30cm. The terracotta plaster inclusions in W73/S34 will be defined with a dental pick while W73/S35 was scraped to see if the red-brown soil continues south into this meter. A 10cm cut was taken in W73/S34-35 west of the string of rocks. No material was taken from the soil west of the rocks but within the rocks 5 worn pieces of pottery and 5 worn pieces of bone were recovered. An unusual ceramic piece was found in W73/S35 at ~32cm and labeled a find.
