T-26 1982 Grid System Clarification
Note that the numerical coordinates for T-26 run in the east-west direction and begin with the SW corner of the upper building and run parallel to the southern wall of the upper building. For T-26, the first grid (meter) east of the SW corner of the upper building is designated as "O," the next meter east is "I," and so on.
This same designation system was described when T-21 was plotted out. In fact, the T-26 grid system is based on the system described for T-21 ( see FA I, p. 9 ). The T-25 grid system differs from the T-26 system in that it designates the first meter east of the SW corner of the upper building as "1," the next as "2," etc. This is based on the system described in LRL I, p. 1 .
This difference in the numerical coordinates of the grid systems must be taken into account when comparing localities in T-26 and T-25.
