Because I had removed the island L.33 and in L. 34 soil began to show differences, Filiz and I have begun to dig w/ new locus number L.35 and the color differences seem to be continuing.
We also removed the surrounding edge L. 37 of the hearth L.36 and L. 35 took over this removed area.
Filiz worked a little with the sections and learned about idea behind straightening them.

| Has note | The purpose of the daily journal was to record the activities taking place in a trench each day. This included which loci were excavated, how and why loci were excavated and the ongoing impressions of the relationships among loci. It should be noted that journals record the actions, impressions and ideas of trench supervisors during the excavations. They are not, therefore, the final interpretations or syntheses of the emerging data. |
