Decision was made this Am to prepare the area to be designated T-22 Extension*.  An are between T-22 and T-21 was cleared of brush and trees (approx. 5x15m).  This are was partially metered out.

*T-22 West Extension

As T-21 is still under more than one foot of water (whereas T-22 is dry) we cleaned a swath of brish from T-21 to the south slope of the hill and also did some trenching to create a slope enough to drain T-21 witha  hose.  We will attempt this tomorrow A.M.

continued taking cuts down to 30cm b.d. (approx. 20cm b.s.)  Rocks analogous in depth/position to those in the west edge of the trench (approx. 20-25cm b.s.) were encountered.  Souil to this depth is uniform dark brown.  From this PM and yesterday PM, finds included about 1 doz pieces of tile, typical work and small, and several small pieces of pottery -
