Metal Summary
Metals: Bronze/Iron
Only a small quantity of bronze was recoverd from CA33 1990. Almost all of the pieces consisted either of small amorphous clumps or thin flakes. In addition, the pieces discovered displayed no specific pattern of distribution, but rather were distributed througout the trench. The only notable bronze find was a fibula pin (JBI p 195 ), which was discovered in meter I/14. A few amorphous, small pieces of iron were also discovered in CA33. These pieces, however, which were discoverd at relatively high depths, stand a good chance of being modern. All the general finds of bronze and iron were stored in J. Berkin, Representative Box 4, 1990.
