A.M.

Work continued clearing the floor. Among the odd pieces found was an iron nail and a piece of molded bucchero.

In the east end of T-26 more brush was cleared to the north to prepare for a topsoil cut.

In 95 the remaining galestra was removed down to the tile and plaster layer. About ¼ box of pottery was found, mostly unburned. Also quite a number of unburned bone fragments were found. A couple of fragments of tile and plaster were found, also unburned. At this level some of the lower soil was grey in IJ/95 with areas of red and black burn and carbon flecks.

P.M.

The floor was cleaned down during the entire afternoon concentrating on the southern meters.
