E-F/100 was taken down to roughly 66-70 cm below surface. The soil at this level is composed of varying tones of yellow. Some spots are bright yellow and others yellow-brown. Some soil is almost grey. All is hard packed and almost sterile. Only a few pieces of tile and pottery were found, and a flake of bronze. Small bits of carbon are evident. A stump was removed in E/100.
E/102's pot was cleaned around and lifted. It preserved the entire flat base and much of the body.
E-F/101-102 were taken down to 70-75 cm below surface. Although soil is generally devoid of material, a few pieces of bucchero were recovered. A few pieces of tile and other pottery were found. Soil is brown-yellow and bright yellow in places.
E-F/100 was taken down to roughly 70 cm below the northern baulk. A few large pockets of carbonized material were encountered in this cut, which produced very little tile and pottery. Bucchero, orangeware, coarseware were all represented however. A few plaster fragments were also encountered
